My name is Conner Davis and I’m the co-editor-in-chief of Mountain Vista Media (MVM), the student media program at Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo. I joined staff the second semester of my freshman year after I took Journalism I and fell in love with telling stories.

In the past few years, I’ve obtained skills that have helped me to become a great journalist. I now know how to take powerful photos, write stories and captions, interview people and design a newsmagazine and yearbook.

This year specifically, leading a staff of more than 40 student journalists has taught me more about leadership and working with others to produce a great product while keeping everyone happy.

The skills I’ve gained as co-editor-in-chief and as a staff member in years past will stay with me through all of my future experiences as a journalist.
